How Much Isit For An Ambulance

Sunset Park - Paul Auster (2010)

More about Sunset park Sometimes you learn to appreciate some authors with the passage of time. The path runs parallel growth: aging writer and reader.
I always thought of Paul Auster as a cynical writer. Unlike other writers who deal with human material with a high level of neurosis, its always seemed a detached view, less empathetic than others, that with the same kind of characters tend to get in deep resonance.
In Sunset Park it's as if Auster's eyes had become more prone to intimate understanding of the misfortunes of others and the ways in which we repair the damage of an evil fate, or an all-consuming guilt.
I do not anticipate any spoilers the general tone of the finale, marked by this perverse mechanism that leads people to the error applicant, just as if there was no way to behave differently.

Gone with the Wind in the Vatican - the millennial (1999)

More about Via col vento in Vaticano It 'all too easy to say that the events narrated in this paper a more hands you already know everything, even though almost nothing has ever been officially admitted. It 'too easy to say that, after all, consecrated persons are human beings, and then - like all - weak in the face of temptation of power and money.
After reading it reinforces the idea of \u200b\u200bfaith is something transcendental, almost completely independent of the church; sometimes it is even tempting to think that if we continue to believe in spite of both the church and not because of it.
would be wrong to believe that all the prelates of the Vatican is guilty of atrocities, and the authors of this book alone would represent already a significant exception. The reaction is still that of a distancing from a class of people who systematically violates the principles of the Gospel.

March

A lion with her cub

The name March comes from the Latin Martius, meaning dedicated to Mars, the god of war in his capacity as god of awakening and home (mind the month of October is devoted to him in his capacity as god of war).

In Archaic Roman calendar and the calendar of the Roman Republic Martius was the first month of the year and had 31 days. In the Julian calendar and

Augusteo Martius became the third month of the calendar and counted 31 days.

March 19 is the feast of dad to coincide with the feast of St. Joseph Mary's husband and father Jesus

St. Joseph is the father figure, so celebrate the saint is also the opportunity to celebrate our dad and show them our love.

I wish all the Dad!

wounding of cactuses and agaves
A scan my dreams in the distance
to quiet the my heart to dry

Maroso And crashing to the stones
panting pride of the sea
Accomplished nell'asperso ardor
osmosis water south-west wind on my face

The art of happiness - Goliarda Sapienza (2000)

More about L'arte della gioia Take a book long secure in his own wish list, whose friend in aNobii awarded four stars, it gets a hold of that book because that friend gives him for Christmas, not to mention the detail of a beautiful dedication; see further reading at an opportune moment to slow a tasting.
There are few things that kill the enjoyment of a work of fiction as an expectation too high, and waiting too long. Even so, I say, reading de The art of happiness has left me with the impression that he caught in the middle of his message. What's in this novel that I was not convinced? Perhaps the centrality Modest as a character, who steals the show from start to finish, relegating everything and everyone in the background. Small is not the witness of his time, however, extraordinarily rich in historical events, as the protagonist of a life to which all are to be witnesses.
the long run is a narrative point of view too narrow.

"Art is a means of increasing human compassion, and is often un'avventuare within the pure beauty and strangeness. We must Always write for your time, not for posterity, that does not exist. And it is taking heart in hand. I've often told my students, especially women: Do not be ashamed to be sincere, to be open, to tell what really counts for you. Maybe use of pseudonyms, but not inhibitory ever. "

PRODI OF GRASS

Narrow grass verge
hangs over the sea
with rough olive
frondadargento.

graze the air
spring
lean butterflies
smell of thyme.

And in the querulous monotone
song of the sea
I think I think:

Where life
A its shore?
where his background?
life go by, the flowing waves.

THE MYSTERY OF THINGS

So light the mystery of things!
(oh-blooded young man torn heart)
a field of grass and flowers
ringing a holiday villa in
a fragrant greeting
the earth to the crew,
wave of the sea
to swim insatiable.

The one and the other - Elisabeth Badinter (1987)

More about L'uno è l'altra Define Elisabeth Badinter is not easy. You could summarily put in the category of feminist history, if feminism itself is not subject to constant review and if some feminists do not accuse her of a position too lenient towards men. Badinter said that the capacity must be recognized to retrace the history of humanity with a key to understanding gender , paving the way for novel ideas - even if it is not entirely agree with his point of view.
the remains doubtful about the title because the woman is always the other ? It is unclear, especially since the efforts of the Badinter, in the first chapter is precisely to challenge the universality of patriarchy. If the handling is brilliant until the advent of positivism, the analysis of the two centuries that lead us to give way to general considerations and sometimes superficial. The news is really the weak point of the Badinter, his effort find a place at all costs for the male of today do not lead anywhere. And if for once we leave to men the task of redefining itself, instead of scolding them for not doing so?
Nice is the comment of a reader, wrote on the copy of the book borrowed Sormani: Badinter: provocative or collector VIEUX Cliches?
Exactly ...
