Mario Novaro was born in Diano Marina, Imperia Province, September 25, 1868 and died in Bridges Nava, province of Cuneo August 9, 1944. Brother of Angiolo Silvio, Mario Novaro is part of that group of poets called "minor" twentieth-century Italian who is still waiting its rightful recognition. He was director of the literary magazine "La Riviera" , rightly called the true avant-garde literary guide the early twentieth century.
