very nice idea for a colllezione might be ... .. unbelievable but true: the collection of menu and programs taken in the places you visit.

You could paste the collection on a great album and write the date and place where they were taken ... the various souvenirs.
Or you could collect postcards, coins or even miniature objects without mentioning the stamps ..... perhaps, make the collection, is the most popular pastime ... my sister when I was little, I was inundated with stamps from from all cities of all sizes and periods ... I am even been given away, always from above, special editions of stamps purchased directly at the Italian Post Office in the birth of my two little pests!
could also collect leaves or flowers that keep their color longer if you put between a newspaper and a sheet of paper parraffinata and there goes the hot iron on it.
